I cut together Having Fun On Stage With Everybody back in 1995 (or thereabouts). It was my attempt to answer the previously unasked question “What would an hour-long live concert album sound like with all the songs taken out?” I can’t explain why I did it: three decades later, it is just as much of a mystery to me as it is to you.

The sound quality reflects the limitations of its sources (vinyl to cassette to MP3 to WAV), just as the material reflects the limitations of my record collection back then.

I haven't heard anything as just completely perfectly formed out of the gate--every decision the right one, what to include but more what to exclude--maybe ever. Don't know who Sault is, but they do not sound like they could be anyone who hasn't paid some dues to get this good. Or signed some Satanic contracts. 100% confidence, and it sounds 110% earned.
